about

Jackson and the Janks are a rock and roll and rhythm and blues garage gospel band. Known to light up the floor with fresh and time honored dancin' music. Sacred steel lifting you up and bass saxophone holding it down.

Their highly anticipated self-titled debut album was recorded live-to-tape by Bill Howard in New Orleans from Spring 2016 - May 2018, and captures the explosive live energy and timeless sound the band is known for. The album is a mix of originals and classics, characterized by the extraordinary and unmistakable vocal talent of singer/guitarist Jackson Lynch combined with the masterful and inventive musicianship displayed by each member of this uniquely arranged line-up, which features Matt Bell on lap steel, Craig Flory on bass sax, and Duff Thompson and Sam Doores sharing backing vocals while trading-off on drums and keys.
